From battery to bank in four steps
No energy trading desk. No manual monitoring. No price watching at 3am. encosa handles market participation automatically — from hardware handshake to monthly revenue report.
Connect your battery system
encosa connects to your BESS via Modbus TCP/RTU, RS-485, SunSpec profile, or direct vendor API. No new hardware required — the edge agent runs on an industrial mini-PC installed alongside your battery management system.

AI reads the market every 15 minutes
Every quarter-hour, the model ingests EPEX SPOT prices, FCR tender signals from ENTSO-E, and your site’s load profile. It models a 4-hour forward price window and determines the optimal dispatch strategy — charging, discharging, idling, or holding SOC for FCR.
Automated dispatch — no human needed
Dispatch commands travel from the cloud AI to your on-site edge agent over an encrypted TLS connection. The edge agent issues Modbus commands to the battery inverter within 60 seconds of a market signal. You are never in the loop — unless you want to be.
Safety rules are hardcoded into the edge agent: never dispatch below 20% SOC, respect inverter C-rate limits to protect battery warranty, handle grid disconnection gracefully. The cloud AI cannot override these limits.
Safety constraints · always enforced
SOC floor 20% · max C-rate per vendor spec · grid disconnect safe-state · FCR SOC band 40–60%
< 60 seconds end-to-end latency
Revenue shows up in your dashboard
Monthly revenue is broken down by stream — FCR tender earnings, EPEX SPOT arbitrage, and Leistungspreis savings — in both the web dashboard and the automated monthly PDF report. XLSX export is available for energy auditors and Betriebskosten documentation.
